 General Information for Custom Chocolates
ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS: Digital artwork preferred. Send to size via email to CandyCoated4u@aol.com in Mac or PC-formatted Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop. Must be 300 dpi resolution, vector format with all fonts converted to outlines. Art services available $50/hr.

CANCELLATIONS/CHANGES: All cancellations and/or changes must be confirmed in writing. All work will be billed to point of cancellation. Changes to orders already in production may result in delayed shipping.

CHOCOLATE OPTIONS: Catalog pricing reflects choice of milk or dark chocolate. White chocolate available at an additional 10%. Flavoring also available.

DROP SHIPMENTS: Individual items shipping to multiple destinations require mailers; call for pricing. Deluxe service of $9.95 includes mailer, gift label, personalized gift card and shipping via Fed Ex Ground. Addresses must be submitted in MS Excel spreadsheet;. If unable to provide addresses on a spreadsheet, we will enter them for a fee of $0.50 per address.

KOSHER CERTIFICATION: Most of our products are manufactured under the supervision of the Orthodox Union.

OVERRUNS/UNDERRUNS: Allow for 5% over/under on all items to be billed accordingly.

PAPER PROOF/PRODUCT PROOF: An electronic or paper proof will be provided at no charge; signed approval required to begin production. Product proof available for $95, applied toward full order if approved.

PAYMENT TERMS: Net 15 days for established accounts.
First orders must be accompanied by credit references and 50% deposit or you may use a Credit Card for the complete order.

PRICING: Prices are effective August 1, 2003 through August 1, 2004 and are subject to change without notice. All prices in U.S. dollars.

PRODUCTION TIME: Standard production time for most items is two weeks from art approval. Rush services available upon request. Rush charges may apply; inquire with factory. Allow adequate transit time.

REPEAT ORDERS: No set up fees and reduced production time for exact reorders.

SAMPLES: Random samples. Available at no charge. Spec samples. Available for $95, applied toward full order if approved. Digital spec samples. Full-color digital representations of custom items available at no charge. Email logo to

SET UP CHARGES: One-time set up charge of $100 applies to most items. All molds remain property of the factory. Three-dimensional molds quoted on a per-job basis.

SHELF LIFE: Chocolate has a shelf life of one year or longer if stored at room temperature; away from heat, humidity, direct sunlight and strong odors.

SPLIT SHIPMENTS: Multiple items shipping to multiple destinations will be subject to a handling fee of $3 for full-case quantities and $5 for partial-cases, in addition to regular freight charges.

WARM WEATHER SHIPMENTS: During the summer months and to all warm climates, chocolate is shipped with ice gel packs at no additional charge. Upgraded ship method may be required, based on shipping destination. Refrigerated trucking is available for larger shipments.
